When you are in Greece, eat like Greek

On hot summer day somewhere on the Cretan east cost I prepared traditional Cretan appetizer – light, healthy and easy to prepare. Chop tomatoes, season them with olive oil, salt, oregano and a pinch of pepper. Top paximadi (barley rusk) with seasoned tomatoes and crumble or grate generous chunk of feta cheese on the top.
